The Statement - Set Apart

The Set Apart design was inspired by Romans 1:1.

"Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an Apostle, separated unto the Gospel of God."

In this verse Paul declares that he was called to be an Apostle, separated unto the Gospel of God, as a servant of Jesus Christ.

As Christians, some of us will be active in the five-fold ministry (apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, teachers), but we will not all have a 'pulpit ministry'. However, we are all called to be ministers and serve with excellence right where God has placed us. If we bear the name of Christ, then we bear the responsibility of being Set Apart, and Separated unto the Gospel of Jesus Christ. "The Gospel is the power of God unto salvation to all who believe." (Romans 1:16) We have encountered that power, experienced that power, and are commissioned to be living testimonies of that power. God has saved us and called us to live a life separated from the things of the world, to live a life Set Apart for the glory of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
